Hartley House is a union of 19th century southern charm and 21st century sophistication. This Greek Revival upcountry farmhouse was built in the late 1700s, earning it a spot on the National Register of Historic Places. It’s also known as the Bond-Bates-Hartley House due to remaining in the respective families for over 200 years and is now believed to be the oldest home in Lexington County.

Soft daylight filtering through grand windows, muted pastels on canvas, inviting wooden floors, vintage brass accents - The Hartley House is a daydream brought to life. If you would have asked me a year ago if I would partner with an event venue to serve brides from around South Carolina, I would have called you crazy. As the saying goes, never say never – so here I am, one of Hartley’s many vendor partners. Whether you’re wanting to channel your inner Jane Austen, pull out the pampas grass, or incorporate modern metallics, Hartley is a beautiful canvas for every wedding type.
