There’s been a lot going on recently – Big news, happenings, and many celebrations. A couple of weeks ago, I did a relaunch of my brand and announced that I was partnering with the Hartley House. I also got to celebrate my big bro getting hitched and work on a couple of side projects. It’s safe to say these are all good things that I’m very grateful for, but when we experience celebration after celebration and win after win (maybe especially even), we need to hear some things that are good for our soul.
Things that go beyond, “You’re doing a great job!”
With this in mind, I created this non-exhaustive list of affirmations for you. Read through them, see which one(s) jump out at you and write them down. Save them in your notes on your phone, doodle them in a journal, or scribble them on a post-it and stick it to a mirror. The goal is for you to be able to see it consistently so when you’re feeling low (or celebrating a win) you have a reminder that you are more than your successes and failures.
Call them healthy reminders or biblical truths (some of them are pulled straight from the Bible), but don’t discount yourself if you’re not a Christian. These can be applied to everyone, everywhere. Whether you’re celebrating a big win for your biz, or you’re just trying to make it through the week (or day), these are truths that apply to you just as much as they apply to me.
If you’re riding high right now, let me congratulate you. If you’re going through a bit of a rough patch, let me encourage you that things will get better.
Now pull out those sticky notes.
