Let me start off by saying this post, more than anything, is a gag post. I caught myself wondering what a wedding registry may look like if it were created specifically with self-isolating/social distancing due to a pandemic in mind. Thus, a blog topic was born!
While this list shouldn’t be taken seriously by any means, there is the potential for it to inspire your own wedding registry or even give you a few ideas on how to add some more fun to staying safe at home. At the very least, I’m hoping this will add some humor to your day. I’m a firm believer in laughter being good for the soul, so let’s drive right on into your personally curated, pandemic inspired wedding registry. *wink*
Scrabble, Monopoly… Pandemic (I couldn’t resist) – Board games are a staple that every home should have. They’re a fun way to pass the time (unless you’re locked into a four hour game of Monopoly, that is) and allow you to learn more about each other. Competitive winner? Poor winner? Sore loser? Here is the ultimate test.

Speaking of games, a good deck of cards will never let you down. Want to play alone? Solitaire (or any of its many variants). Want to play together? Go Fish, Speed, Slap Jack – Lots of fun options!

If video games are more your thing, you could opt for some couch co-ops on the Xbox. Your hubby will surely be thankful for this one!

Sure, Netflix is the classic binge watching enabler, but with Disney+ and Hulu you get the best of both worlds (IMO Hulu has better options, while Netflix has the best originals). You can finally watch those shows you’ve been hearing everyone talk about or you can just grab some popcorn and binge watch Disney movies, either way is a win/win!
Be it DoorDash, GrubHub, or Postmates – A gift card to your favorite food delivery service is a great gift when you’re trying to stay in as much as possible. You’ll be able to take a break from all that cooking and have an in-home date night while also supporting your local businesses, who really appreciate it during these crazy times!

These books are a fun addition to your in-home date night! There’s one for you and one for your man that are each a fun, workbook style experience to guide you into wholesome conversations and connection. Dim the lights, light some candles and pour a glass of vino – Who says dating at home isn’t possible?

You can’t wine and dine at home if you’re missing the wine! Save some counter space and add a wall mounted wine rack to your registry. Once you have a few bottles racked up (pun intended), you can learn how to cook with different blends and what notes pair with each food. Bonus: Add some new glasses to your registry as well!

Invest in all the cuddling, naps, and sexy time you two will be doing with a super comfy bedding set. You may not be able to travel for your honeymoon, but that doesn’t mean you can bring the honeymoon to you! *wink*

Staying active is important and while going on walks is a nice option, rainy days are bound to happen (hello, summer afternoon showers). Ask for a nice yoga mat and follow along with a video for a great workout!
